“I Can Trust God”

September 10, 2009

Last Sunday we launched a brand new children’s area and a brand new children’s Sunday School program. The kids (and the older “volunteer” kids) had a lot of fun! I wanted to share a story that I heard this past week from Sunday.

After learning last week in Faith Factory that we can trust God when we’re afraid, it seems like one of our children got a chance to put that into principle into action.

During our “Projects with a Purpose” time last week, Mrs. Jennifer had all of the children make a shield and told them that the shield represented God’s protection on us. This child used the shield as a reminder when it got dark in his room. His parents say that they saw the boy using his shield and saying, “I can trust God when I’m afraid.”

See, what we do does make a difference. Thank you, Mrs. Jennifer, for impacting a life last week! Last Sunday was certainly a win for our Children’s ministry!

Will you bring your child this Sunday so that they can be impacted?
