Faith Factory Fun

September 14, 2009

Just wanted to let you know about a story that I heard this past Sunday from a parent…

The parent said that they were waking their child up Sunday morning. When the child woke up, the first thing they said was, “I get to go to Sunday School today.” This statement prompted the father to ask how his child liked the Faith Factory. The child proceeded to tell their dad about all that they had done the week before and how much fun it was.

As the family arrived at church Sunday morning (a little late), the child heard the music and the yelling coming from the Faith Factory and said, “Hurry, I’m missing it!” (Imagine getting the same response from a child about church that you would normally get about a Hannah Montana concert!)

I love hearing stories like that! It’s one of the reasons I do what I do. Children need to know that God loves fun. They need to hear it in their own special language.
